Fifty percentages of the seats are reserved for candidates who have applied to Govt. through LBS centre for Science and Technology and the 50% is for management students who apply to the Principal of the college directly.
50% of the total seats will be filled up by the Govt from the list prepared by the Director, L B S Center in accordance with merit and reservation principles followed by Govt. from time to time.
Candidates once admitted to Govt. merit seats in self-financing colleges will not be permitted to change the admission to another self-financing college. In such cases the management of the College shall be entitled to collect liquidated damages up to four times the annual tuition fees as liquidated damages from the candidates who discontinue the course for any reason.

To be considered under management quota a candidate shall apply directly to the Principal, MIMS College of Nursing in the prescribed application form, which can be obtained from Office of MIMS College of Nursing, Puthukode, Malappuram Dist / Office of MIMS Academy.
Admissions to the management quota (35% of seats) are regulated on the basis of merit as assessed in the rank list prepared by the Principal, MIMS College of Nursing based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination(s), after having the normalization procedure.
Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or Examinations recognized equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together are eligible; or as fixed by the Govt. of Kerala/ University/ Statutory Bodies.
Candidates who have passed the B. Sc Degree (3 year course) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biochemistry as main and any one or two of the above subjects as subsidiaries, with 50% marks for main and subsidiaries taken together, subject to the condition that they have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are also eligible for admission.
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December in the year of admission

Application form, prospectus and admission card can be obtained from Office of MIMS College of Nursing, Puthukode, Malappuram Dist/ Office of MIMS Academy. The candidate should submit the filled in application form with copies of supporting documents as specified in the prospectus on or before the last date of submission of applications.
The rank list will be prepared by the Principal, MIMS College of Nursing based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination(s), after having the normalization procedure and will be published in the College of Nursing official website and or college notice boards.

The selected candidates as per the rank list will be admitted to the college after the verification of certificates.
The candidates who are selected are liable to pay the tuition fee and other statutory fee on the day of admission.

To be considered under NRI quota a candidate shall apply directly to the Principal MIMS College of nursing in the prescribed application form, which can be obtain from the office of MIMS College of nursing, Puthukode, Malappuram Dist./ office of MIMS Academy.
An NRI candidate can be a non-resident Indian/ dependent of Non- Resident Indian who completed the eligibility examination in India Or abroad. However the candidate is liable to produce an equivalency certificate from the university regarding the eligibility for admission.
The rank list will be prepared by the Principal, MIMS College of nursing based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (s), after having the normalization procedure and will be published in the college of nursing official website and or college notice board.
The selected candidates as per the rank list will be admitted to the college after the verification of certificate.
The candidates who are selected are liable to pay the fees fixed for NRI quota.
